Our Story

The way I see life has changed a lot because of a really tough experience. My wife got sick with breast cancer when she was 32 years old and pregnant with our third little boy. I took care of her for 7 years, and it became my mission to make her feel loved and happy, even when she was going through treatment. We learned that what mattered most were the memories we made and the things we experienced, not just the stuff we had. We went on vacations with our friends and family that we might not have gone on otherwise, and those memories mean the world to me now.

During those trips, we always stayed in hotels. But we realized that hotels weren’t great for big groups or when we had our children with us. Eating out together was hard, too. It was a hassle to find a place to eat that could fit everyone, split the bill, and find parking. All of that made it difficult to really enjoy being together. What we really needed was a big, fancy house with everything we needed right there. We wanted a place where everyone could sleep comfortably, have private spaces to hang out, and a kitchen that had everything we needed.

That’s why I started myluxvaca.com. Our main belief is that life is short and we should make the most of it. We think that experiences with loved ones are more important than material things. Our goal is to help good people like you make special memories with your friends and family. We do this by working closely with luxury vacation homeowners to set up and manage their homes for short-term rentals. And for our guests, we provide a top-notch vacation experience from start to finish.
